Sticking to the shady spots
I think I'm at 41 miles in my 250 mile walk. It got a little warmer than I expected, so I walked in the shade near the creek. Watched a family of 13 ducks.
It was at least 10 degrees cooler under the trees.

Great pictures - sp peaceful and cool in the shade! Your weather must be a lot like ours. Western Illinois could use some rain.
