Today was a 2 mile walk at the YMCA - packed with kids and families for soccer and the track surrounding it was the path I took. Today was a day I felt like I had lead in my legs...

I used to walk at an indoor gym at a local park--it was great for our climate (about 39% sunshine days), but not enough people were taking advantage of it, so it was discontinued due to staffing costs. Walking on a good wood floor is so much better for the knees and shins than concrete or asphalt. I miss it. Outside with the sun, trees and birds is great--on a 70 degree day, but this spring we don't seem to be getting that.
