Not too bad! Because of the 20% weight limit on the left hip, I make a lot of trips around the rooms. Was in process of cleaning closets when this started, so I have much sorting to do. Then I carry a little at a time on a tray and rearrange what cupboards and closets I can right now - the rest will be done on rainy days in the summer. I need a pedometer just to see how many miles I walk in the house.
The kit cats also keep me entertained and busy. Blue, the youngest, is finally being accepted - less hissing. Hopefully at Spring - I'll have a Peaceable Kingdom.

So Not Walking!
Hope that the New Year brings health, renewed faith, and good fortune to all.
Not walking since 10/07/06 because of staph infection in hip. Ended up now with a temporary hip replacement and twelve week recovery time. First of March, permanent hip replacement surgery will be done and all will be well after a 6 week recovery period. I hope to be walking with just one cane by April 1 and doing 1 mile with no assistance by May 1. Until then, I will be doing my walking mostly inside, trying to keep some semblance of order in my home while I recover.
