Wow I still have legs...
I walked propery today for the first time in a while heading for the beach again- my favourite place to walk. It was strange to see the water empty of boats and bouys as they are all out for the winter. A good walk and even though the wind was cold my legs apprecitaed it!PHOTOS ON MY BLOG

still walking
but not really that much.
Yesterday though a friend wanted to borrow our car after lunch so I handed over the keys at church and walked home. It was a beautiful sunny autumn day - but a very cold wind.
This morning the temperature is only 2C (that's about 34-5 F) brrrr ... winter can't be far away but I don't even want to think about it.
There's a photo of a fantastic leaf over at enjoy!

Back from Illinois
We left for Illinois a week ago and got back Thursday evening. I did some walking on the days that the weather was good, 3 miles in Oregon, where we were staying and 3 miles in Mt. Morris at the park with a high school friend. Wednesday turned cold and rainy so I didn't get out.
While it was still dark this morning I went out with my book on CD, "Master and Commander" by Patrick O'Brian. I had it with me in the car, but with the road noise and the distractions of the fall color, I think I missed a lot. This time of morning I couldn't see anything but porch lights, so I paid closer attention.
Anyone else walking? biking? hiking?
