30 Day Goal for Celebrating Return to Good Health

One year ago today I came home from rehab after the first step of replacing my left hip - a temporary replacement wrapped with antibiotics and using a walker. But I was home and it was and is wonderful. With the weather so iffy, I am now setting a goal for at least one hour a day of exercise, weight training, some treadmill, and maybe even some walking on the bike path from today January 5, 2008 through February 5, 2008.

This is an ambitious goal, and you are an inspiration. Mine isn't nearly this powerful, and I haven't had surgery.

Thanks for your confidence in me. I only hope that I get this done. Then I have a head start on Spring/Summer 5K's and hopefully one 10-K, along with a really good year of outside yardwork.
